Following the successful construction of the first Virgin Active Gymnasium at Frenchs Forest GIDDIS was engaged to provide Project Management services for their showcase Sydney CBD gymnasium which is positioned on level 3 & 4 between Pitt Street Mall and George St.

GIDDIS was engaged to provide design management assistance to the Virgin Active project team. This included design and consultant management, liaison with the base builder – Bovis Lend Lease, monitoring of an open book procurement model, superintendant role and general construction supervision through to handover.

This project needed to be delivered in a difficult location in a tight timeframe. It involved the installation of a 25m pool, spa, climbing wall, studios, café, and various exercise areas. This project highlighted the results that can be achieved when clients, project managers and builders work together with a common goal.
