GIDDIS were engaged by Macquarie Data Centres to provide full project management services for their IC3e SYD 28 development. The IC3e SYD 28 data centre is part of the ongoing development of Macquarie Technology site in Macquarie Park.

The SYD 28 Fit out project comprised the full supply, installation integration and commissioning of equipment for a hyperscale lease. It was a 9.6MW deployment which was completed in 2021. The IC3e SYD 28 works were completed within an operational data centre environment and were successfully delivered with zero MTIs and LTIs. The works were also completed during the middle of the COVID 19 Pandemic ahead of time and budget.

GIDDIS’ engagement for this project was from the inception of Design, Budgeting, Construction Certificate management, Programming through to Main Contractor procurement and the construction management and superintendent role.
