Macquarie Telecom Data Centre – Nth Ryde
- Construction by John Holland Group
GIDDIS was engaged to undertake due diligence investigations for the expansion of their existing CBD data centre involving augmentation of existing power supplies and spatial planning. During this time GIDDIS introduced Macquarie Telecom to a site at North Ryde that provided a much greater result and the expansion plans were disbanded in favour of developing a brand new facility. GIDDIS was subsequently engaged to provide turnkey project management services for this major mission critical data centre project. The delivery program for this tier III, 8 megawatt facility is 18 months from site acquisition to go live. This is the first project in the Oceania Region to be awarded the prestigious Uptime Institute Tier III Certification.
