GIDDIS was established by Matthew Giddy in 2008 to capitalise on 20 years of experience in the Commercial Construction Industry. The years spent designing and constructing projects provided Matthew with an intimate understanding of the risks to successful project delivery and the various methodologies to overcome these risks. GIDDIS was set up to offer clients this knowledge on an individual and personalised level.

GIDDIS believes that project success relies on the dedicated attention of a senior operative over all facets of the project from inception to operations. This approach allows issues and challenges to be identified early, and decisions to be made in time to control the outcomes rather than looking for ways to overcome them when it has become too late.

Matthew Giddy – Founder & Director. 

Prior to establishing GIDDIS, Matthew worked for a range of small, mid-tier and tier-one design and construction companies over 20 years including many years as a Senior Design and Construction Project Manager and 3 years as General Manager of FDC a large mid tier Building company with over 50 staff. During this time Matt was ultimately responsible for the award, design, delivery and performance of a range of projects worth between $250,000 and $40 Million. Annual turnover was in excess of $100 Million. These projects were spread over the industrial, commercial, data centre, hospitality, health, education, fitout and refurbishment sectors. During his tenure Matthew has won numerous MBA Excellence in Construction awards.

Matthew holds a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, an Associate Diploma in Applied Science and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Project Management.
